A dog a day… Nessa

UPDATE: Nessa was adopted Saturday 5/25/2014

Today’s dog is Nessa, a wonderful senior gal located in southern California.

We are sharing Nessa today on behalf of the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Adoption Center.

Meet Nessa! She is a Labrador Retriever and Chinese Sharpei, about 8 years old. The volunteers, who love spending time with her, tell us that Nessa is very sweet and does very well during bath time.

This wonderful girl also has great leash skills. Her Ball in the Ballpark outing was fantastic and she behaved very well around other dogs, while on a leash.

You can visit Nessa at the RC Animal Center:

A dog a day… Samson

Samson 1

Today’s dog is Samson, a sweet guy that is running out of time.

Samson tell’s us…

I’m a 6 year old Australian Shepherd and I’m hoping you can help me find a new home.

I’m a sweet, lovable boy who is fiercely loyal to my family. That means I can be a bit protective of the kids in my family and a little territorial at times. I’ll do great with dog parents that understands the Aussie demeanor.

I need space to run and play, I’ve got  lots of energy and tons of love to give. I’m updated on all my vaccines and ready for my new home.

If you’d like more information please contact Melissa at  mnk218@icloud.com. I currently live in southern California.

Please share and network Samson using the hashtag #aDogaDay.

A dog a day… Precious

THIS EXTREMELY URGENT GIRL HAS STILL *NOT* BEEN ADOPTED …. (boarding only paid until 5/23, then nothing)

HERE IS HER INFO: She is currently being held at Burnham Veterinary Clinic in Willows, CA, 95988. The number for the clinic is 530-934-3311.

She is an owner surrender and has been in the pound since April 30th. Some folks have been paying for her board, since the rescue that they usually work with is full right now, but she is only covered until the end of this week (5/23).

Her name is “Precious”, and she is a sweet natured, medium sized doggie. She can be adopted now, if there is someone out there.
